This is the final week for the adopt a school campaign with Chapters Indigo. We currently sit in third place so please go to adoptaschool.indigo.ca/eng/schools/1334 and adopt Greendale. Five days left!!
Thank you to Home and School for putting on PJ story time on Friday October 2, it was quite the hit. For those of you who couldn't make it, you missed the treat of having Mr Brayne read to all the kids....thank you Mr Brayne.
Since the story time gave the opportunity for everyone attending to adopt GREENDALE, we still need your help. We are at number 3 and have 5 more days to reach number one. Please vote and adopt if you haven't already and please ask everyone you know to do so. Thank you and have a good night. The GREENDALE community. Hi Everyone, Well the students made it through week one...yay!!!! Just to recap the email sent out by Mr. Brayne, the annual welcome back corn roast will be held this Friday September 11th @ 5:30pm. Also anyone who wishes to volunteer to help out in the library, please contact H & S at [email protected]. There was also a form sent out for the ped day of September 18th, please fill it out and return immediately. Enjoy the rest of your long weekend and we look forward to seeing the students Tuesday morning. Thank you, The GREENDALE community Hi everyone, We would like to say a great big WELCOME to all our returning students, our first year students and the entire GREENDALE staff. We hope that the parents had a great meet the teacher night and that all the students had a wonderful first day. For those who are new to our school and those returning who were not aware that we had a blog page, welcome. We will be blogging on current events so that parents can experience the excitement that our students have the pleasure of enjoying every day. Welcome again and thank you for being a part of the GREENDALE family. Have a good evening! The GREENDALE community To coincide with St-Patrick's Day, the theme of this year's Staff Appreciation Week was Green. Throughout the week the staff were all treated to various goodies revolving around the color green. From chocolate and caramel covered green apples to "green" prizes and soothing teas.
On January 8th the Greendale Volleyball Teams participated in the LBPSB Elementary Volleyball Tournament held at John Abbott College. |
